Matthew J. Wagar, Principal
Along with more than 30 years in commercial and residential architecture, 20 as owner of Moon Hill Design, Inc., I also possess 8 years of hands on construction experience, frame through finish. A combined experience not many architects enjoy or can employ. I utilize this combined experience during design, being able to approach each project with constructability in mind, while creating that project aesthetically. Thoughtful consideration to methods of construction, with attention to this throughout design for all trades, means a project that is reasonable to build, start to finish. Developing a manageable construction budget, and avoiding any unnecessary adjustment of plan intent during construction, is also a benefit realized from this combined experience. I bring these considerations to all projects, regardless of project size or complexity.
Laura Langness, Design Associate
Laura has been an integral part of Moon Hill Design, Inc. for more than 10 years. She brings enthusiasm, professionalism, computer graphic skill, and the ability to thoroughly coordinate construction documentation, that is paramount to our project development process. Her contributions to our clients and projects are always extensive and essential. Along with these many attributes, she also is proficient as an Interior Designer and can provide this service to our clients. Her patient personality is one of her many assets, and our clients always enjoy working with her during interior design and project development.
